Description:

Full Face Masks - Full Face masks are CPAP or Bi-Level masks that cover both the nose and mouth while you sleep. They are most effective if you breathe through your mouth while you sleep. Many sleep apnea patients start with a full-face mask and switch to a different style after they get used to sleep therapy. Sleep Solutions Home Medical offers several brands of full-face masks, including Respironics, ResMed, and Fisher & Paykel.

Nasal Masks- Nasal CPAP or Bi-Level masks are the most popular for treatment of central, obstructive or complex sleep apnea. Typically a standard or nasal mask fits around the outside of your nose and may be better for patients that suffer from claustrophobia or do not breathe through their mouth while sleeping. Your physican may also prescribe a chin strap, which you can learn more about in our Billable Accessories area.

Nasal Pillow Masks - Nasal Pillow masks are the most recent development in masks that can be used by most patients. Many people choose a nasal pillow interface for their CPAP or Bi-Level machine because of the comfort it offers. Nasal Pillow masks are lightweight and unobtrusive.
